It's been a few days since rumor has it that Dave Castro is back in the company that fired him five months ago. It seemed strange to us, the community made some assumptions, everyone had their own point of view.
We have waited and finally Confirmation has arrived from CrossFit®: much loved (and sometimes hated) Dave Castro is back.
What happened to Dave Castro
At the time, when it was announced his departure from the post of general manager, the news has simply shocked CrossFit® lovers around the world. Many couldn't even imagine what the company could be without Uncle Dave at the helm.
Now they have claimed that Castro will return in an important role for CrossFit® HQ, working closely with affiliates and coaches.
The news was released by the American site Morning Chalk Up through two sources. Both would have been present at a meeting with Dave Castro last Monday. According to the news site, ten other box owners attended that meeting behind closed doors.
However, rumors that Dave would be returning to CrossFit® initially surfaced May 24 on T.he Sevan Podcast.
It is worth mentioning that Dave was fired a few days before Open 22 and, since his departure, there have been many mistakes on the part of CrossFit® LLC, in particular with the affiliates, who incessantly asked Castro to return to the company.
The biggest mistakes occurred in the current season of the Nobull CrossFit® Games, in relation to the scoring and judgment of the participating athletes, which is why the CF Batman Andew Hiller started "drumstick"All athletes.
