I woke up with a question: “Is there a certain type of personality that is particularly attracted to CrossFit®? Are there characteristics of our way of being that bring us closer to this sport?”.
If his, each of us has a set of patterns of behavior, thoughts and feelings which remain practically stable over time and which define us; this is what it constitutes our personality and can be evaluated on different scales.
Browsing the internet, I discovered that there is a personality type that is very suitable for CrossFit ®… Take this quiz and find out if you fit into the category:

Do you have a CrossFit ® personality?
Read each of the following statements e answer YES or NO in relation to your way of being and acting "most of the time“. You respond quickly, spontaneously and honestly.
- You are competitive and ambitious and feel like you can't get enough.
- You are impatient and restless.
- You always tend to do something. Moments of rest can seem like a waste of time.
- You try to do things quickly. Live against the clock. It seems that time could run out at any moment (sound familiar?!).
- You are multitasking.
- You speak quickly, loudly and tend to interrupt others.
- Give a lot of importance to the result. You strive for high performance in every task. You always want to be the best (yes, that sounds familiar too).
- You need to have everything under control.
- You tend to have trouble falling asleep or are a light sleeper.
- You get angry or irritated easily, with a tendency towards hostility.
- You tend to have a high level of physical and mental alertness.
- You are tenacious and persevering. You keep trying even when the odds of success are minimal (sounds very familiar!).

Results
These statements correspond to a personality type called “type A personality".
Assign 1 point for each Yes which you answered. With a score of 7 or higher, your personality begins to transform into this type.
The higher the score, the higher the type A personality and meeting CrossFit® is just a matter of time!
If your way of being corresponds to this type of personality, this is the sport for you, not only because it is perfectly suited to how CrossFit® works, but also because it will bring you a series of important benefits.
However If your personality doesn't match the one described in this article, don't worry. Meanwhile, CrossFit® has crossed your path and will bring out all your potential! Determination and perseverance are in your heart and this is a great engine.
