Even unfortunate news arrives from overseas ...There are many athletes who tested positive in the Copa Sur anti-doping tests, held in Vitoria in Brazil, especially in the Team category.
They are 4 teams disqualified for athletes with positive champions and, therefore, the invitations will go to the 5th and 6th team of the general classification (always if they are not positive too!).

In doping it is no different ...
Reflections on doping ...
How many times do we hear that someone has been caught for doping and then it comes to mind: "and for force they use steroids”, but we say it without even analyzing what really happened.
To give you an idea, the former footballer Romario was caught for doping in 2007 for using the finasteride.
This name is well known to people who suffer from baldness, after all it is a drug used to prevent hair loss.
However, the substance had been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA); according to the medical expert, Dr. Eduardo de Rose, the drug does not increase the athlete's performance, but it makes it difficult to search for possible prohibited substances.
" Wada classifies finasteride as a masking agent. It does not increase the athlete's strength, power or endurance, it simply makes it difficult for the laboratory to detect anabolic steroids. For this reason, it is on the list of banned substances, ”Rose explained at the time.
This example demonstrates how often the substances used do not really increase the strength and prowess of the athlete making him superior to others.
They are often used without intention and without will, as in the case of Romário, or ingested due to some cross contamination, like in case of Lari Cunha last year, he was unaware of the existence of Ostarine in his medicines.
Therefore, it is extremely important to listen to athletes and understand the possible and real reasons that caused doping.
It is always the athlete's fault
To many it may seem absurd, but apparently it is something well regarded by the athletes themselves. According to the CrossFit rules, every athlete is responsible for what they ingest.
For this reason, even if the error is not directly or intentionally attributable to the athlete, he must take full responsibility for the case.
To date, we have not had any athlete who tested positive for any prohibited substance complaining about this competition rule.
