A key event for qualification to the CrossFit® Games 2025
The French Throwdown is one of the two “in-person” qualifying events in Europe for CrossFit® Games 2025. In 2024 it had hosted the European semi-final, but for the 2025 edition the selection system changes.
In fact, for the elite category, the qualification will be based on a mix between online qualifications e results achieved in 2024. Here's how it works in detail.
Wild Cards: 20 athletes will receive a direct invitation!
Il French Throwdown 2025 to award 20 invitations based on the performance of the 2024 season:
✅ 17 automatic invitations to the best athletes of the 2024 european semi-final (French Throwdown 2024).
✅ 3 invitations reserved for the best French athletes of the 2024 quarter-finals.
If an athlete were to refuse the invitation, this will be awarded to the next athlete in the ranking, following the order of the 2024 semi-finals or quarter-finals (for the French).
