Let's be honest… we all wondered how much each athlete has won after the Games. This is a curiosity that always pops up at the end of each season and this year we decided to please you by revealing some of them.
We did a search (and some calculations) to understand the amount of the prizes. This listing takes into account the cash winnings awarded for the Games, the Open, the Semifinals and the event winnings, both the Games and the Open.
There is also to say that Reebok gave a bonus for winning or second place to athletes who wore their shoes during the heat.
A note: for the second consecutive year, the total payment of individual athletes for the Games season has decreased. Last season, the total prize pool earned by individual athletes was $ 2.918.604, an amount heavily influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The total individual prize pool for the season this year was $ 2.323.168, a drop of 20% over the previous year.
- The total prize money earned by individual athletes during the 2018-2019 season it was $ 3.072.856. To date, this is the maximum for the cash prizes earned during a Games.
- The list does not include athlete sponsorship agreements, which may include monetary compensation.
