How HYROX Affiliates Work
HYROX offers three different membership levels, designed to suit the different needs of gyms and trainers:
- HYROX Performance Center: Specialized spaces with equipment and support for high-performance training.
- HYROX Training Club: Local affiliated gyms that offer programs adapted to the HYROX format.

HYROX in Italy: A Growing Interest
HYROX has done its part debut in Italy in 2022, immediately attracting the attention of athletes and fitness enthusiasts thanks to its innovative format that combines running and functional exercises.
Since then, the HYROX movement in our country has grown rapidly, with an expanding network of affiliated gyms offering specific training programs for this discipline.
One factor that may have contributed to the success of HYROX is the growing dissatisfaction within the CrossFit® community, emerged especially after the controversial handling of the Lazar Đukić case.
La Lack of transparency in some CrossFit® Games decisions has generated some discontent among athletes and fans, leading many to seek more structured and clear competitive alternatives.
This phenomenon has seen a growing number of athletes, even elite, participate in HYROX competitions to test a new race format.
Among these, important names stand out such as Elisa Fuliano, who competed in pairs with Camilla Massa, and the multiple champion Tia-Clair Toomey, who competed in Melbourne, demonstrating the appeal of HYROX even among the best athletes in the CrossFit scene.
Italy has proven to be a fertile ground for HYROX, thanks to the growing attention towards fitness competitions and the popularity of high-intensity workouts.
According to the latest data, the number of Italian participants in HYROX competitions is doubled in the last two years, a sign of ever-increasing enthusiasm.
Additionally, the Coach and Gym Certification Program has enabled many facilities to integrate HYROX formats into their training programs, promoting widespread diffusion throughout the country.
Today, HYROX is more than just a competition, it’s a cultural phenomenon that’s bringing together people with diverse fitness goals, from beginners to advanced athletes, offering an inclusive and accessible platform to challenge themselves.
