By now we know: Oleksii Novikov is the Strongman Rogue Invitational 2022 champion, the competition of strength that is held October 28-30, 2022 in Austin, TX.
Novikov's victory continues an impressive streak of winnings, in which the athlete is stood on the podium in 17 of his last 19 races, starting from September 2020.
At Rogue, we also had Trey Mitchell (second place) and Mitchell Hooper (third place) on the podium. Mitchell's second place is the immediate follow-up to his win at Shaw Classic 2022.
Meanwhile, Hooper landed another podium in his young career after winning each of the recent finals of the Giants Live World Tour 2022 and Arnold Strongman Classic UK 2022.
So far, Hooper has failed to qualify in the top three on one occasion: in his WSM 2022 debut, where he finished eighth overall.

Il Oleksii Novikov's first Rogue title is the latest in a long line of successes for the strongman superstar. Many could understandably point to the WSM 2020 title as the most important moment of his career, but the athlete has also been four times the strongest man in Ukraine (2016-2019).
It also has won the title of Strongest Man in Europe for the first time in March 2022. If you add the Hummer Tire Deadlift world record at the 2022 Shaw Classic… Let's say that the Ukrainian athlete has proved very competitive in recent times.
