5 fun Rowing workouts to try

You too missed the Rowing? Why me, so much!

You already know about my passion and my experiences in some races… like ai Paris World Cup. In fact, shortly thereafter the whole broke out chaos of the virus crown and since then everything has changed.

After this quarantine period we arrived at the 2 phase and maybe it will be time to start training with our loved one again rowing machine, so I said to myself:

Why not offer a series of training sessions for the rowing machine to do?

I created these 5 fun workouts you must try absolutely!

Let us know which one you like best!

All in 4 minutes

Team: 2 or more balanced teams.
Time: 4 minutes.
Objective: Max team calories.
Penance: the difference between the winning and the losing team will be discounted by the latter in the form of burpees.
Example: Team A 2680 cal. - Team B 2650 cal. = 30 burpees for each member of Team B

The relay of death

Team: 2 or more balanced teams preferably composed of 2 or more people.
Distance: 10000m, it's less than 40 minutes.
You change: The team members will change on the rowing machine every 500m.
Objective: Finish before the opposing team.
Penance: Clean the cars, which will be sweaty.

8888 Rowing

Single
Single distance: 8888m and set the split to 1111m
S / m split: 18 - 22 - 18 - 24 - 18 - 26 - 18 - 28
Advice
: Don't get caught up in the enthusiasm of the first 3333m, then the difficult part will start.
Target: Respect the number of strokes per minute, and cover the distance in the shortest possible time.
Secondary objective: beat my time

Andata e ritorno

Single
Variable intervals - distance: 500-400-300-200-100-100-200-300-400-500
Recovery: 1 minute between distances.
Advice
: Calm is the virtue of the strong.
Target: End the session and do not throw up.

The perfect couple

Team: 2 or more teams of 2 people.
WODs: 500 cal rows + 250 burpees
You change: The team members will decide how often to alternate between the exercises
Objective: Finish both calories and burpees before the other team.
Penance: Clean the machines and paid aperitif.

They are simple workouts but they will make you sweat a little. Let us know how they went and tag us.
