9 CrossFit® athletes who will return to competitions after serving the doping ban

Lately it's a topic in vogue; it is a continuous ban, one after the other for doping. For all those who leave, however, there are others who return!

Indeed, it was announced that 9 of the athletes banned for use of prohibited substances they will compete again in CrossFit® events starting this year.

They are sportsmen who served the 4-year ban imposed in 2017. One of these is Ricky Garard, who tested positive for testolone and endurobol in a test performed at the 2017 Games.

As we have anticipated, the Australian athlete officially returned to the floor on October 3rd and has already agreed to compete in the Dubai CrossFit® Championship in December.

Dave Castro, CrossFit® Sports Director, has been an active supporter of Garard's return to competition, openly welcoming the athlete to his social media profiles.
