Documentary film "The Fittest" will be anticipated for Coronavirus

You remember what we recommended to you some time ago 3 movies to see for CrossFit® fans? Well, the creators of "Fittest on Earth" they decided to follow up, covering the 2018 and 2019 CrossFit® Games season.

Taking a first look at the teaser, we see Mat Fraser, Laura Horvath and Sara Sigmundsdottir competing at the DBX CrossFit® Championship and Tia-Clair Toomey and Patrick Vellner in action in the Wodapalooza; plus we talk about a lot interviews and backstage scenes!

“I don't just want to get there and win. I want to come and dominate. We will say that 2019 will have been my best year " said Toomey, who took the Games podium for the third time.

In another scene Laura Horvath is seen crying on the shoulder of her brother Kristof, because she had to abandon the DBX after suffering a lower back injury.

The producer pair is made up of Heber Cannon and Marston Sawvers.

Cannon has directed several films, including "Froning", "The Fittest on Earth 2015", "A Decade of Fitness" and "The Redeemed and the Dominant", all titles available on NetFlix.

After the release of the teaser, several fans of the directors left comments on their social networks. The community's biggest concern was that documentaries and films about the lives of athletes and their journey to the Games were no longer produced.

THE ADVANCE OF THE RELEASE

The coronavirus pandemic has spawned several changes in many parts of the world. With so many people locked up at home, forced to quarantine to prevent the spread of the virus, streaming companies have started releasing more multimedia content.

The producers of "The Fittest" of Buttery Bros have used their Instagram profiles to announce that they want to release the documentary "as soon as possible".

This will happen when the film reaches 15 pre-sales (estimated by March 24th).

The official date, however, has been set for April 7. Here is a part of the film:

To achieve the presale goal, the film will initially have a promotional price of US $ 7 (approximately € 6,50). After the release, it will return to be sold at the base price of US $ 13 (about € 12) as announced by Buttery Bross.
