Brazil CrossFit® Championship: final results

After 3 days of competition, this too ended CCB 2020 (Brazil CrossFit® Championship) where all the athletes have further demonstrated (even if there was no need to do it) because we love this sport so much.

Il Brazil CrossFit® Championship was held last weekend (6-8 March) in São Paulo as the eighth Sanctionals race of the 2020 season.

For the first time two Sanctional competitions were held on the same weekend, there was also theAustralian Crossfit® Championship, this, we assure you, has doubled the emotions!

The most anticipated race of the Latin America he showed us how much work, sweat and dedication are needed to bring home the victory. A crazy challenge, where athletes around 6 nations they met with the common goal of winning the notorious invitation to the Games 2020, in August at Madison.

Team Results

The Canadian team Taranis Lifetree became the ninth team this season to win the Games ticket after beating the Invictus Brazil team this Sunday.

For the team of Steve Howell, Christina Seeley, Caileigh McDade and Caleb Woiwod this will be their first appearance at the Games together as a team.

The battle against the team Invictus Brazil it started on Friday and ended only on Sunday after 9 exciting events and only 36 points ahead!

Results men

The man category floor has practically turned into a battlefield between the Canadian Adam Davidson and the American Josh Miller. Wod after Wod the athletes fought with their fingernails and teeth and the victory is awarded for themselves 12 punti of difference.

The advantage went to Davidson after a lackluster performance by Miller in Event 5, "Triple GTO Ladder".

Guilherme Domingues he completed the podium in third position, after having had constant performances (always in the top 10) in all workouts.

  2. Josh Miller - 556 points
  3. Guilherme Domingues - 484 points

Results Women

If that of men was a real battle, that of women was a real war! The Argentine national champion Melina Rodríguez has managed to excel on Cecilia Ramirez Villamil (Mexico) although with a margin limited to just two points!

Rodriguez and Villamil have always been in the top 10 in every event except the first, where Rodriguez finished eleventh.

Since the Argentine athlete had already qualified for the Games, the invitation went to the second arrival, the Mexican athlete Cecilia Ramirez.

The podium also received the representation of a Brazilian athlete: Andreia Pinheiro, third classified.
