Chicken [nutritional values]: the number one ally for athletes

Who practices bodybuilding knows well that chicken is the undisputed king of the main foods in the diet of the certified bodybuilder.

But is the chicken breast really good or is it better to pay attention to the excesses in its intake?

HOMEMADE OR COMMERCIAL BREEDING?

It is widely believed that home-raised chicken meat is healthier than commercial meat.

CHICKEN AND ANTIBIOTICS

Another common belief is that chicken is full of antibiotics.

The use of the latter is allowed, but only for non-precautionary curative use! The chickens to which it is administered must wait for a specific period of time before they can reach the market, so that the antibiotic is no longer active.

The use of drugs on chickens in Italy has been reduced by 20%.
