CrossFit® challenges are popular on the web

That this forced isolation has changed us is evident. Many of us had to adapt to the training to continue home gym, a noNew way to experience fitness. There was a boom in sporting goods purchases (by the way, you took a look at our new one dedicated Telegram channel?) and by now almost all crossfitters have made their own little corner of home gym.

The CrossFit® boxes and coaches do their utmost to give all the necessary support: they have given students the opportunity to collect accessories (dumbbells, kettlebells, weights ...), every day they create new WODs to be done completely at home and lately are growing video classes on Zoom.

The time available at home, however, is a lot and we are never satisfied. We are always looking for new stimuli and new challenges to face and from this continuous need to test themselves, the CrossFit® Challenges.

The coach of CrossFit® Talents, Pedro Pomi, he knows it well and has decided to entertain his students with weekly challenges really fun! She created 10 challenges (one per day, from Monday to Friday for two weeks) a daily score, not only by evaluating skills, but also by testing the ability to get involved while having fun.

Not only they, in fact, have created these fun moments of fitness and relaxation. We have seen others recently and have decided to collect the ones we liked the most. Who knows, maybe you can try them tagging CrossMag on social networks!

Challenge 1: 100 burpees

A challenge with a basic CrossFit® exercise: i damn burpees, loved and hated by so many crossfitters.

Being an exercise highly cardio, the difficulty lies in completing 100 burpees in the shortest time possible!

The challenge was so popular that there were many publications, including involving other family members, such as Frances Grieco of the box CrossFit® 2912 Elite, who completed the challenge together with his son:

Challenge 2: 100 air squats

Very similar to the previous one, this challenge uses another fundamental of CrossFit®: the air squat. They were the owners of the box Beauty Island CrossFit Bresso to launch it and made us have a lot of fun.

The modus operandi is always the same: complete 100 air squats in the shortest amount of time.

However, it is not the only one, practically every day the boys launch challenges! For Easter Monday they challenged us in 250 burpees ... let's say that the chocolate has been disposed of!

Challenge 3: #tenfuckingseconds

Here our friend Pedro Pomi of the CrossFit® Talenti box has outdone itself.

The idea is simple: create some 10 second mini-challenges, so that they can be published in a single stories. There have been some skills, for example max push up rep in 10 ", but also funny challenges such as performing a ground to overhead with a pile of books (with consequent drops on the head!)

This week Pedro told us that the challenge will be different… keep an eye on their page so as not to miss anything!

Challenge 4: Handstand

This is one of our favourites! The concept is simple: do a handstand on the wall and try to take off the shirt and then put a new one on.

I tried too (with poor results), but most people have succeeded perfectly.

Emiliano Stamera, from the box CrossFit Manerbio for example, he got involved and succeeded perfectly:

 

For women, they increased the difficulty: instead of taking off a shirt, they were asked to remove the gym TOP (or put it on!)

Well, let's say that with something so tight it is really a mess! But a lot of esteem for those who made it!

Challenge 5: Gravity

This one is also very nice, it is based on the optical illusion.

You have to get stuck between the walls of a corridor or in the door of the house giving the impression of being suspended in the air.

The compositions are very beautiful and have left us amazed.

Sounds easy, but try it and you will see that there is absolutely nothing easy!
