CrossFit® Kids: What are the benefits?

It is common knowledge that those who practice sports have one better quality of life compared to a sedentary person. The benefits are obvious both for the physical health than mental health. And the children instead? Studies show that those who practice sport at an early age is healthier, more sociable and has better academic performance.

Unfortunately, there is still the idea that CrossFit® is dangerous, or rather, in the common imagination it is unthinkable that a child can practice it. Unfortunately there is little knowledge behind this sport, we have already talked about kids equipment but today the focus is another: to illustrate what are the benefits of CrossFit® Kids.

What benefits do children have in doing CrossFit®?

1 - Trust

And so they lose the notion of what social interaction with other children is. Practicing CrossFit® is one way to interact and make friends with peers and other adults who are training in the box.

As mentioned at the beginning of the article, this is not a new topic and there are studies to prove it. Children who play sports perform better at school. Practicing CrossFit® is one way to free yourself from stress, distract yourself and have fun.

Apart from all the advantages mentioned above, we must not forget, of course, the results and theevolution on a physical level, just as it happens with adults. The children are starting to have more force and endurance, both physically and mentally.

8 - Spirit of camaraderie

Those who practice CrossFit® know that this sport has its own culture. The spirit of camaraderie is intrinsic. Cheering and encouraging the colleague to finish the WOD with words of encouragement are passed on to the children. Thus they learn the true meaning of the word camaraderie and this is subsequently transposed into their daily life.

9 - Become their superheroes

After the children start practicing CrossFit® and realize how difficult it is to do certain exercises, when parents do them well or lift a certain load, they start thinking that be really tough.
