THEhesperidin is a bioflavonoid, a type of plant pigment with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, found mainly in citrus fruits.

Oranges, grapefruits, lemons and mandarins all contain hesperidin; it is also available as a supplement.

In general, dosages of 50 to 150 mg per day are well tolerated, although some studies have managed to administer 600 mg / day for periods of 4/12 weeks.

Sources of hesperidin

You can increase your intake consuming more lemons, limes, oranges, tangerines and grapefruits; another source is peppermint, both in fresh and dried form.
