Does the detox diet really serve to detoxify?

How many of us have had a period of stress, full of parties and events one after the other, in which you just can't say no to good food and good drink?

I think of everyone sometimes! As soon as you decide to go back to line and "Up to speed" one of the first things you think about is just one detoxifying diet.

With the term Detox we do not mean a specific type of diet, but a set of food tips to detoxify and cleanse the body of toxins accumulated thanks to junk food and stress.

Premising that this diet it is not supported by the scientific community, some tips can be helpful if followed for short time!

DETOX DIET PRINCIPLES

Change the food style

Increase your intake of detoxifying foods, i.e. those rich in water, fibre, vitamins and mineral salts.

Change your lifestyle

Promote physical activity, reduce smoking and reduce psychological stress.

Begin mental stabilization courses

Practice activities like yoga or meditation.

The goal is to stop the accumulation of toxins in the various districts of the organism; in addition to the working discharge of the kidneys and liver, we will assist in the expulsion of all excess waste from the digestive tract, respiratory tract, blood and skin.

DETOX PREPARATION

Anyone who approaches this diet must face a preparation cycle to the actual diet; we must eliminate all those foods that could trigger a withdrawal reaction:
