How much has the Reebok Bonus Program paid athletes in CrossFit® Games 2022?

As you well know, in addition to the prize money offered by the main sponsor (NoBull), athletes had the chance to exit the CrossFit® Games 2022 with extra money in their pockets, thanks to the second edition of the Reebok Bonus Program.

This year, over 270 athletes signed up for the program and the top finishers took home a total of over $ 240.000.

In a previous article, we had explained to you that the Reebok Bonus Program is back with the second edition for this year's CrossFit® Games, but with some changes.

For this season, Athletes who finished first in an event and wore a suitable Reebok shoe during training were rewarded as follows:

* All racing team members were required to wear eligible Reebok footwear during the event to be eligible for bonuses.

How much money has the Reebok Bonus Program awarded?

According to a company press release, the Reebok Bonus Program awarded more than $ 240.000. More than 75% of the adaptive athletes who competed this year took part in the program and a total of $ 43.200 was awarded to these athletes.

The Reebok Bonus Program was also the only way teen athletes were able to earn at the CrossFit® Games, as they did not participate in the split of the overall prize awarded by the main sponsor NOBULL.

Also according to the press release, over half of the athletes competing in the Teens and Masters divisions participated in this initiative.

Who participated in the Reebok Bonus Program?

A total of 9 Reebok athletes participated in this year's CrossFit® Games in the team, master and individual divisions, but only a few of them won an event and took home the extra cash prize:

* Rich Froning is a Reebok athlete, but his team could only receive the money if all athletes wore Reebok shoes during the events. The money also had to be split between all team members.

Furthermore, the company also donated $ 50.000 to the Adaptive Training Academy (ATA), a small non-profit business, owned by disabled veterans, that is dedicated to providing high-quality, research-based education and guidance to enable accessible and inclusive fitness training for all, regardless of ability.
