Here is the translation of the post thanking all the participants of this edition of the Open 2021:
“Thanks for joining the Open!
The beauty of the CrossFit® Open lies in its accessibility to all and its surprising ability to challenge even the best of us.
Positioned at the intersection of "I can" and "I want", the Open offers an open door to the most difficult mountain you have ever climbed.
We fight, we try harder, we cheer, we adapt, we cheer and we persevere together. Through this shared experience, several hundred thousand athletes around the world develop a unique understanding of force of the human body and spirit.
Personal milestones are celebrated with all the fervor of a Super Bowl victory. This is the magic of the Open.
The next stage becomes harder, faster, heavier. More chalk. More sweat. More glory.
Only 10 percent of Open participants go to fight another day, in the quarterfinals - 10, the Pythagorean number of perfection. Those who have what it takes, step forward and once again leave everything on the floor.
From there, a small fraction of those initial hundreds of thousands will move on to the next stage. An even smaller fraction will advance to the Games. Only a select few will earn the right to call themselves the Fittest on Earth. "
