The Nobull CrossFit® Games move house. Already! The biggest event in the CrossFit® landscape leaves Madison and heads for Alabama. This change will take place starting in 2024, while next year (2023) it will remain in the same location.
This, however, is not new; Justin Bergh (general manager of sport) had already mentioned about this change.
At this year's Games, Bergh stated that 2023 would be the last year of the competition in Wisconsin, without having provided any details on the actual destination of the event.

Where will the CrossFit® Games 2024 take place?
According to rumors, the Games 2024 will be held at Birmingham CrossPlex, a multi-sports complex located in central Birmingham.
The idea is that competition remain in the region from 2024 to 2027. The information was provided first-hand by an official who agreed to speak, confidentially, to the team of reporters from the American site Morning Chalk Up.
However, when the site asked the company for information, CrossFit® responded with a statement:
“We currently do not comment on any potential venues for 2024 and beyond. We'll be making an announcement with the 2023 season details soon, and we're looking forward to returning and celebrating our time in Madison next summer. Once the announcement of the 2023 season is complete, we will be able to confirm future locations by the end of the year ”.
Where have the CrossFit® Games been held in the past?
It is worth noting that this will be the fourth “home” of the Nobull CrossFit® Games.
At first, the event took place at Dave Castro's Ranch in Aromas, California. However, the growth of competition meant that it moved to the Carson's StubHub Center.
In 2017, the CrossFit® Games moved to Madison, where they will remain until next year. However, in 2020 there was a return of competition to the Ranch due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dates of the next Nobull CrossFit® Games 2023
Here you are: July 31, 2023 (Monday)
CrossFit® had previously revealed that the Nobull CrossFit® Games of 2023 will begin "the week of July 31". On that occasion the best athletes from all over the world will compete to win the title of "Fittest on Earth"
To date, we still don't know how many there will be days of competition, nor how many training sessions or the program of events will be.
We assume that the Games will actually start on 1 or 2 August (Tuesday or Wednesday) and end on Sunday, as has happened in past years.
So even though the CrossFit® Games 2023 date is set to July 31st, we may receive updates in the future.
