We know the WOD 21.2 of the Open 2021

21.2

Here we are! The according to WOD of the Open 2021 was released last night and everyone is already preparing to face this new challenge.

Did you see that this time the training is a repetition of Open 17.1?

Does it seem easy to you? Oh no dear, just see the state in which Justin Medeiros and Samuel Kwat they were after completing the test in the official presentation.

As you well know, these two athletes are not "few things", but they are the second and third placed at the CrossFit® last year… so if they did it, what about us poor mortals!

WOD 21POINT2

Without a doubt, this WOD remains on the idea of being the as inclusive as possible. The requirements to run the 21point2 is to have only one box and a dumbbell. Having these two things, it will be possible for all subscribers to complete it, even from home.

If anyone thought that the 21.1 was easy (I see it difficult!), certainly with 21.2 will have nothing to say. This new training will require not only the force of the shoulders given the high number of dumb bell snatch (which by the way rises with each round) but will also require a lot from the cardio and legs of the athletes.

CROSSMAG TIPS

It must be said that this wod requires a lot of preparation. Stay a lot be careful with i box jumps to avoid horror stories and to end up injured. As you progress through the rounds, fatigue increases and the chance of hitting the shin on the box will be directly proportional.

As many have speculated, the burpees as companions of the box jumps. They will be five rounds in total so it is worth talking to your coach to find the best strategy for dealing with the event.

But be careful! There are many skills and the time available is only 20 minutes. Create a strategy that is consistent and that helps you not to give up halfway through.
