Who Won the CrossFit® Games Invitation from the Last Chance Qualifier?

Well guys that's it! After a month of semifinals, this weekend there was thelast chance for athletes to win an invitation to the CrossFit® Games at Madison later this month, we're talking about the Last Chance Qualifier.

Thirty-three men and thirty-four women played four workouts over the past weekend, with solo two athletes for each single division.

Final scores for all four events are still being finalized, but here's the unofficial results.

Who won the invitation to the CrossFit® Games from the Last Chance Qualifier: Men

The Russian athlete Roman Khrennikov dominated the LCQ, winning workouts 1 and 4 to earn the ticket to the Games.

Immediately after is the Canadian Alexandre Caron, which remained fairly constant throughout the weekend winning the second invitation.

Was a disappointing season finale for Spencer Panchik, who hoped to participate in the Games by joining brothers Scott and Saxon this year. He finished 14th overall despite a solid 6th place in the 100 burpees for time.

Thewind 2 was 3-rep max deadlift, where demonstrations of force crazy, with the max weight won by the Greek athlete Ioannis Papadopoulos, which raised 595 lbs (about 270kg!).

After his dramatic situation in the semifinal at the German Throwdown, Emma Tall è managed to win the invitation to the Games after an overall win at the LCQ.

The Swedish athlete, whose score change knocked her out of the Top 5, proved she deserves her ticket after scoring consistently high scores in all four events.

Tall was closely followed by the Games veteran Kristi Eramo O'Connell, which failed to win the invitation to Granite Games last month.

Kristi had a slow start in Event 1, but won first place in Event 3 and 4, which secured her second place overall, right behind Tall.

In the 3-rep max deadlift event, the Spaniard Oihana Moya he won the drums with a massive lift of 392lbs (about 178kg).

Score changes

So far, only three score changes have been made when reviewing submitted footage.

Male event 1

Ioannis Papadopoulos: Time adjusted +1 sec. for the precise end time.

Luca Fiso: +20 sec. Penalty for not having clearly brought the dumbbell above the center of the body during the dumbbell hang snatches.

Women's event 2

Matilde Garnes: Score adjusted to 345 lbs to better reflect the conversion from kg to lbs.
