This past weekend we were all glued to the official CrossFit® channels for attend the CrossFit® semi-finals, a unique and highly competitive event, which recently took place in Berlin, precisely from 1 to 4 June 2023.
These semi-finals represent the last crucial step for CrossFit® athletes looking to earn an invitation to the prestigious Games. Italy has been fortunate to have some of its most talented athletes to represent it in this competition, among which Elisa Fuliano stands out, an elite athlete who has proven her worth and earned the much coveted invitation to Madison.
But she wasn't alone!
Among the athletes who have represented Italy with determination and commitment we also find: Enrico Zenoni, Tommaso Pieri, Emanuele Biviano, Emilio Rossini, Pietro Anderloni, Federico Marra, Iurii Marincenco, Jasmine Ghilardi, Valentina Magalotti as individuals and Bad Beast team (Cecilia Ferrero, Frederik Housson, Elettra Sirotic and Gian Lorenzo Lucchesi) and CrossFit® Senigallia team (Marta Ricottini, Andrea Barbotti, Chiara Salandra, Gaetano Pezzullo).
All these great athletes they represented our Italy very well and gave us great emotions by winning some tough workouts:

- Pieri 7th in wod 4
- CrossFit® Senigallia 2nd in wod 2 and 10th in wod 6.

Elisa Fuliano's performance "Fulix the Fury"
Elisa Fuliano has captured the attention of CrossFit® fans and enthusiasts around the world. With her determination and her ability on the court, Fulix has proven to be a formidable opponent for the best female athletes in the world.
Through the intense training and the hard tests of the semifinals, Elisa gave her best in every single test. Whether it was lifting insane weights, overcoming challenging obstacles, or completing complex exercise sequences, Elisa demonstrated tremendous physical and mental stamina.
Her great performance this weekend earned her a straight ticket to the Games!

Athletes who have retired
During the CrossFit® semifinals in Berlin, we witnessed moments of great emotion, but also surprising announcements. Some prominent athletes in the CrossFit® world have decided to announce their retirement from the season.
This decision is always difficult to make, as it requires a deep reflection on one's sporting path and future challenges.
We learned with great suffering the withdrawal of Haley Adams and later Mal O'Brien, we will not see Tia (because she has just given birth) and now they add to the list:
