Poster of the woman who does CrossFit: 5 things that make us special

There is a lot of talk about the effect that the CrossFit may have on the woman's body: they become larger, too muscular and look like males. And yes, it is true that this can happen in some cases, mainly to girls who train for several hours a day (they do programming), or use increasingly heavier loads or who take supplements to reach that particular physical condition. But these are exceptions!

There are so many other women who train with the aim of having fun and keeping fit, so with this article I decided to do the Crossfit woman poster: 5 things that make us special.

1) We become more competitive

It is well known among athletes that CrossFit is very demanding, but it is also a progressive sport: it is improved day by day. With a job focused on each skill, you go hand in hand to strengthen and improve exercises that once seemed impossible. Moreover, the comparison with the box mates gives you the charge and the desire to go beyond those limits more and more, so the desire to continue to train is always alive. And this continuity can be used in all areas of the personal life of each of us.

2) We are more toned and in shape

For us women, the desire to lose a few pounds, have a Brazilian backside and tone the arms and abdomen is indisputable. And CrossFit arouses great interest, precisely, because of these changes in our body. Already in the first weeks of training, a noticeable improvement occurs throughout the body. You increase your breath, your stamina and you immediately feel fitter. All through an intense and stimulating workout, but which brings fast and extremely motivating results.

3) We are more loaded, well disposed and concentrated

Thanks to the release of endorphins and serotonin in post-training, you feel more comfortable and full of energy to deal with everyday and work problems. Even those suffering from premenstrual syndrome (PMS) benefit from the benefits of this sport.

Aerobic stimulation, in addition to making us sweat, improves breathing capacity and helps fight the stress of the day.

That's why many women after a stressful or heavy day opt for training and all say the same thing: they release their tension at that time, where they give their best to close the WOD.

4) We become stronger and stronger

One of the most important physical skills to develop is force. In both women and men it is essential to preserve lean mass which begins to decline after the age of 40, when the metabolism decreases. And strength training helps not only preserve it, but increase it! And don't think badly girls: being strong doesn't mean being extremely muscular.

The feeling of strength increases significantly as you train and begin to increase loads, doing things you didn't think you could do. It is for this reason that CrossFit is one of the most complete sports, because in a short time it increases strength, mobility, conditioning and toning, also combining the benefits given by gymnastic exercises in the same workout.

5) Improves quality of life and self-esteem

Those who see us from outside think that we are a cult. This is because CrossFit comes into you and becomes a fundamental part of your life. Only those who live it can understand how positive it is and how much it can improve the life of those who practice it.

Being able to overcome one's limits and see improvements every time one looks in the mirror is a feeling that cannot be described. It really becomes a lifestyle that goes hand in hand with healthy eating and a good rest.

In addition, the box becomes a family, where everyone helps and takes charge together, an environment where you go to have fun with friends who share the same passion: fitness.

Anyone who thinks it's not a sport for everyone is wrong. Look for a box that has trained and qualified coaches that will help you bring out the best in you.
