5 new Sanctional CrossFit® events announced

CrossFit, Inc. has announced that there will be 5 more races for i Sanctional, ranging from Australia to Europe and Asia. In total, therefore, there will be 28 events  in 21 different countries (12 more than last year) where athletes will fight for an invitation to Reebok CrossFit® Games 2020 in Madison, Wisconsin.

They start already in 2019, the Pandaland CrossFit® Challenge, the Australian CrossFit® Championship, the Asia CrossFit® Championship, Reykjavik CrossFit® Championship and Down Under CrossFit® Championship, which will expand the competitive opportunities available for CrossFit® athletes worldwide.

PANDALAND CROSSFIT® CHALLENGE

In this December 2019, there was the second Sanctioned CrossFit® event: the Pandaland Challenge, appropriately kept in Sichuan province, home to the legendary giant pandas of China.

The city of Chengdu welcomed competitors of all nationalities to the second Chinese CrossFit® sanctioned event, qualifying the best male, female and team athletes at the 2020 Reebok CrossFit® Games.

AUSTRALIAN CROSSFIT® CHAMPIONSHIP

The Australian CrossFit® Championship takes place from 5 to 8 March 2020 in Queensland, Australia. An invitation to the 2020 Games is always up for grabs, as well as cash prizes and products for the top 3 qualified.

The competition will begin with an online qualification to select 32 women and men, along with 12 teams, who will receive invitations to compete at the Gold Coast Convention and Entertainment Center for this beautiful Sanctional event.

REYKJAVÍK CROSSFIT® CHAMPIONSHIP

In April 2020 (from 3 – 5 April) the competitors will battle in the land of ice and fire. With so many top Icelandic athletes, this time it won't be easy at all.

ASIA CROSSFIT® CHAMPIONSHIP

China will also host a Sanctional event starting now, the 游戏 游戏 Asia CrossFit® Championship. As the largest international CrossFit® competition on the Chinese mainland, - formerly known as the Inv 游戏 China Invitational - the event will qualify its top male, female and team athletes.

It will take place on the weekend of 8 - 10 May 2020, in Shanghai.

DOWN UNDER CROSSFIT® CHAMPIONSHIP

Wollongong, Australia, the city that hosted six CrossFit® Games Regionals, will welcome competitors from 22 to 24 May 2020 for the 2019 Reebok CrossFit® Games qualifications.

"The Down Under CrossFit® Championship is proud to announce that we will be returning to Gong where the CrossFit® community has flourished"

said championship manager Mick Shaw.

"This year, the Down Under CrossFit® Championship will incorporate some of Wollongong's scenic settings into the events to create a diverse and inspiring event."

The competition will take place over three days in the iconic Australian coastal city.
