Il Westside Conjugate Method is one of the creatures that came out of the mind of Louie Simmons. And like all the children of this great coach and guru ofiron game, we know what to expect.

A bit of history: the powerlifting guru and the Westside Conjugated Method

As with all inventions that work - and which stand the test of time - what is needed is the mix of personal observation, field test and scientific study.

Il Westside Conjugated Method is no exception.

The method is the result of the knowledge that Loiue Simmons he learned between 1965 and 1970 from some of the greats of the powerlifting, when the discipline was still in its infancy. Among these are Vince Anello, "The deadlifting machine", and Geroge Crawford, according to Simmons the true king of squatting.

Vigorously shaking the tricks learned at the meetings of the discipline with the Westside style, Simmons lays out the foundations of the method.

That the physical and mental fatigue that normally occurs after three weeks of ceilings on a lift are intelligently avoided by varying exercise training.

After breaking his back for the first time and refusing surgery, Simmons returns to powerlifting after an "alternative" rehabilitation based on stretching, acupuncture and weight training. The same thing happens after the 1983 incident. On both occasions Simmons uses a device of his invention to recover the functionality of the spine. And the reverse hyper machine, which will patent in the nineties.
