Kari Pearce: before and after CrossFit® (and 6 of her favorite workouts)

Kari Perce is a legend! She has won the title of “Fittest on Earth"And, in 2020, she became the first American woman to reach the Cros podium

sFit® ® Games, after Julie Foucher's bronze medal in 2014.

Unfortunately, was unable to compete in the 2021 CrossFit® Games due to COVID-19. Recently, it also has announced the end of his competitive CrossFit® career to fully devote himself to his business: PowerAbs.

PowerAbs is a 30 day schedule with 10 minute daily ab workouts.

His career in brief:

Born and raised in Ann Arbor Michigan, she defines herself as: sister, daughter, gymnast, Division 1 Athlete, bodybuilder, weightlifter and… CrossFitter!

For the past five years, Kari has competed all over the world, including: Dubai, France, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Florida, Ohio, Minnesota, New York, California and Wisconsin.

He also travels to teach athletes the gymnastic side of CrossFit®. Having a large and proven background, she enjoys sharing her knowledge with others.

She began her athletic career as a gymnast at the age of 3 and did so until she was 18. Lei kari lei was part of the University of Michigan college gymnastics team where she won 4 Big Ten Championships.

She earned her BA in Exercise Science from the School of Kinesiology and was three times Academic All Big Ten.

AB Workout

Hollow Hold Flutter Kicks + Alternating V-Ups!

Do 10 reps of each for a total of 5 sets (video below). This will fire your abs, hip flexors, and transversus abdomen.

If you can't keep your legs straight, it's okay to bend them.

AB challenge

Straddle Up + Strict Toes To Bar on the left + Strict Toes To Bar on the right

How many rounds can you do? Try them out and tag #Crossmag!

This will test your abs, hip flexors, shoulders, lats and forearms!

Strict Chest To Bar Pull-Ups + Toes To Bar + Hips To Bar

How many can you do in sequence, without detaching yourself from the bar? That's right, the goal is to make the most unbroken!

This will test your abs, lats, biceps, shoulders, forearms and hip flexors!

Windshield Wipers with medicine ball

Do 4 sets of 12 reps

This will work your abs, shoulders, hip flexors, and obliques.

First make sure you can do the movement without the medicine ball. If you don't have a medball you can use a heavy backpack or anything else with some weight!

Complex Challenge

Wall Walk + Handstand Push-Up + Thigh Tap

How many rounds can you do in a row?

This will work your abs, shoulders, chest, triceps, and across the abdomen.

Single Leg Lifts Over Dumbbells

Watch the video below and do 4 sets of 12 reps (6 on each side)

This will test your abs, hip flexors, and quadriceps.

If you don't have a handlebar, you can use another item. The higher the object, the more difficult it will be to execute!
