What will the Buttery Games be like?

Watch the video:
1st Episode SPEED
400m relay
One member of each team starts the race from the starting position on a track, makes one sprint of 200 meters and passes the apparatus to the teammate, who will have to run the remaining 200 metres. The team with the fastest time wins.
Here are the results:
- Licis/Wells - 59.63.
- Kearney/Gazan - 59.70.
- Medeiros/Roses - 59.79.
- Call/Turner - 59.83.
- Bjornsson/Hensen - 1: 05.83
- Coyle/Marie - 1: 10.78
- Greene/Pearce - 1: 39.75
Licis participated in the first heat and surprised the Buttery Bros with unexpected speed. His pace allowed Wells to recover Gazan's deficit against Licis.
Wells crossed the finish line almost at the same time as Kearney, but the finish photo confirms the victory of Licis/Wells for a few tenths of a second!
Beep Test
Il beep test is an aerobic challenge that involves a 20m shuttle run, with a time limit. Once the run is complete, the athletes wait for a beep and they run another 20m.
The time between one beep and the next gets progressively shorter with each lap. Athletes are eliminated if a beep sounds while they are still on the course.
Le leaderboards were determined based on total laps completed. The results below are listed as (shuttle runs completed/meters):
- Medeiros — 11:2 | Rose — 5:7 — 138 rounds
- Call — 6:4 | Turner — 10:0 — 122 rounds
- Kearney — 3:2 | Gazans — 11:2 — 118 rounds
- Licis — 4:0 | Wells — 10:0 — 104 rounds
- Greene — 1:4 | Pearce — 10:0 — 93 rounds
- Bjornsson — 4:1 | hensen — 5:0 — 77 rounds
- Coyle - 3: 0 | Marie — 3:1 — 49 rounds
- Scudds - 9: 0
Also in this case, the strongmen struggled, while the CrossFitters excelled. The final athletes of the race were Medeiros, Gazan, Turner, Wells and Pearce.
Ford race trucks
Each athlete rode one Ford truck on a race course for five laps. Each team's cumulative time (10 laps total) determined the final score! The fastest team won.
Eventually only the following teams were announced:
- Medeiros — 1:10.43 | roses (Schaub) — 1:10:51 | 2:20.94
- Bjornsson (race car) — 1:08.09 | hensen — 1:13.19 | 2:21.22
The other results were timed, but not made official:
- Call — 1:16.43 | Turner — 1:20:60
- Kearney — 1:13.01 | Gazans - 1: 25.31
- Coyle - 1: 19.41 | Marie - 1: 11.87
- Sawyers - 1: 06.48
- Cannon - 1: 08.03
- Scudds - 1: 10.15
- Pearce - 1: 20.25
The times of Greene, Licis and Wells were not given and it is unclear whether they made the race. Rose also didn't lead the course and time of him was replaced by martial artist Brendan Schaub.
Björnsson drove another track in a racing car, as it was too big to fit in the van.
2nd Episode Buttery Games
The second part tested the athletes' skills on new gear, with obstacle courses.
Two-time defending champion Fittest Man on Earth® Justin Medeiros and his teammate, former dancer Sophia Rose, led the overall standings after part one.
Three-time Mr. Olympia winner Kai Greene and 2020 CrossFit Games bronze medalist Kari Pearce finished second to last, as the crossfitter doesn't have much affinity for running.

Obstacle course
