Staying motivated to go to CrossFit® every day may not be an easy task, especially if you are new to it. The muscle aches, the lack of conditioning physical to keep up with the workouts and the initial discomforts can ruin all the good intentions and make you think about abandoning the box.

So how do you keep motivation?

Set a goal
You started CrossFit® for a reason, right? Your goal may have been to lose weight, improve your fitness or participate in competitions, whatever it is, the important thing is to always keep this in mind when motivation wanes. Remember, if you give up, you will never achieve it. Work on weaknesses to improve them will ensure that you can achieve goals previously unthinkable, and this feeling will fuel you to move forward.

Find an inspiration
Find someone to inspire you (if you don't have one yet). It can be a coach of your box, a training partner or a renowned athlete, everything can serve as inspiration when the desire to train is lacking.
Studying your training programs and benchmarks can help you set a feasible goal.

Overcome yourself
The feeling of exceed your limits it is powerful and is encouraged in every class. A good suggestion is mark the results to then compare them with the companions. Keep a register of ceilings it is a good way to make a comparison with the starting data ... You will be amazed at the results, we assure you!
Obviously it takes patience and perseverance. Don't think of starting immediately with loads to scream or exaggerating in workouts. Otherwise you risk theovertraining which brings no benefit.
Instead the daily attendance respecting the limits of the body will show you that the hard work is rewarded. Seeing improvements as you go along, achieving the goals you previously set, will help keep motivation high.

Find a teammate
Training on your own is much more boring than sharing joys, sweats and pains with a partner. can sign up with a friend (or convince one to come to your box), otherwise take advantage of the lessons in class to get to know the other visitors.
Surely you will find someone with your same interests and passions and making friends will be child's play. The wod teams are also very useful for creating these links, since you are forced to work closely or even in synchro to complete the training.
Your partner / friend will be the main motivational engine.

Always test yourself
If you always keep your goal in mind and try to push your limits, you are probably one competitive person and that competitiveness can be very positive!
Putting yourself to the test is the best way to understand at what level you are. A good suggestion is challenge a box mate: look for someone with your own loads and try to beat his results. But do not make this a martyrdom, in order to make competition harmful to training.
