After the speculation about Toomey's retirement , confirmation from the side of Froning on his retirement, now from Australia comes another announcement: Khan Porter will last compete in the individual division in 2023.

Who is Khan Porter?
Khan Porter is a fitness model, coach force and veteran of the CrossFit® Games. He has remained one of Australia's leading crossfitters since his debut in 2013 when he finished in 10th place.
A former Australian surf rescuer and state rugby athlete, Khan has developed his career considerably over the years.
Today he owns a CrossFit® training center in New South Wales, as well as being a social media star and an inspiration to all who follow him.

In 2021, Khan Porter competed individually and came one step away from securing an invite to Madison (he finished 6th in the Torian Pro).
He then participated in the Last-Chance Qualifier and finished in 5th place, three places away from participating in the Crossfit Games for that year.
The announcement of Khan Porter's retirement
With a post on IG, the 7-time CrossFit® Games athlete said he will try his best "before hanging up your boots".
Last week Khan Porter attendedthe Dubai Fitness Championshieg after event 5 had to withdraw from the competition, after having difficulty keeping the dumbbells in the front rack.
The 33-year-old athlete wrote that he is “getting older” and, to explain his decision to retire, shared the news that 2023 will be his last race as individual CrossFit athlete.

Furthermore, he stated that the His goal by participating in the DFC was just to see how fit he was to compete against some of the best CrossFit® athletes in the world as an individual.
This season, we saw him compete alongside Annie Thorisdottir in the Team division of the Games, taking home a 4th place finish. For the following season, she decided to return to individual competition one last time.
“Although I've had a certain degree of success throughout my competitive CrossFit career, I've never gone “all in” like I did with the team this year in Iceland. Regardless of the result, I only want to do it once as a single before hanging up my boots, so while I'm disappointed, I'm excited about what's to come."
